Dr Edward Bach 38 Flower Remedies

"I want to make it as simple as this: I am hungry, I will go and pull a lettuce from the garden for my tea; I am frightened and ill, I will take a dose of Mimulus."
Dr. Bach quote

The Bach Flower system uses 38 different flower essences, developed between 1928 and 1936, after a series of experiments carried out by Dr. Edward Bach, an English doctor and known bacteriologist, homeopath and researcher.

Dr. Bach believed that the attitude of an individual plays a vital role in maintaining the health and recovery from illness. He wanted to find the cause of illness and not just the symptom. After identifying 38 basic negative states of mind and spending several years exploring the English countryside, he managed to create a system based on flowers using their properties to restore the emotional balance of an individual.
